                            Product History

The Markee International Corporation, manufacturer of
industrial metal working and rust inhibiting compounds,
acquired Powdered Products Company (PPC) on
September 30, 1975.   PPC had developed ULTRA KLEEN®
products in the late 1930’s.  The original products included
laundry detergents, dish washing soaps, hand soaps, and
various other cleaning products.  Ten such products were
approved and registered by the U.S. Department of
Agriculture – a government service that is no longer
available.

Markee continued manufacturing ULTRA KLEEN® and
other of the original products.  During the next 20 years,
the formulas were greatly improved, many of them
changing from powdered to liquid formulations which were
more effective and safer for the users and the environment.

Markee is known for environmentally safe, high
performance, products that meet, and exceed, many of the
current “green” product standards.
